Any Broadway opening night normally has the stars coming out to play readily and willingly. Stars such as Dolly Parton attended the opening night of the new production “33 Variations” and it would have been hard not to have spotted her with her overly large bosom and her crazy hair.
Dolly Parton
Dolly Parton can be forgiven for many things. After all she is the world’s most famous country singers and for the most part, we all love her. However, the opening night brought her out in all her glory and with a hairstyle that no-one could really have gotten away with.
Rosie O’Donnell
Platinum blonde was the name of the game, as usual for the country singer, and layers would appear to have been a favorite idea for the overall style. Despite this however, the look was more wicked witch than country Queen and made her look so much older than what she actually is. The wild and wonderful makeup and the long extended talons that adorned her fingers also added to this impression and all in all, the look wasn’t a particularly good one.

The hair was quite literally a number of different layers which appeared to have been hair sprayed and flicked out to within an inch of its life. It also appeared to have been backcombed at the roots, something that is meant to give volume, but on this hairstyle made it look like a wig or other false hairpiece.

Dolly Parton can get away with many things but this hairstyle is possibly not the best look that she has ever gone for!
