Taylor Swift attended the MTV Video Music Awards in New York City at Radio City Music Hall. She looked remarkable and, even with the insult she received early on in the show, she stayed graceful.
The country music star looked dazzling in a long gown covered in tiny crystals. The gown hung off one shoulder (a silvery strap made sure it didn’t gap on that side) and hugged her perfect figure. There were a few places on the dress that seemed almost too sheer but it was tastefully done and looked incredible on Taylor. Part of the dress actually dragged on the ground but it only served to make the young singer look ethereal. A flowing, floor-length gown doesn’t look good on just anyone, but Taylor glowed. She wore heels and accented her sparkling gown with a matching cuff bracelet and cascading crystal dangle earrings.
Taylor wore a loose up-do with her hair parted on the side and her bangs framing her face. She wore it in a style similar to a French twist. Taylor wore her makeup well. There are so many stars that seem not to know how to wear their makeup. Taylor red lipstick, a color not every woman can wear, and that goes well with her hair and pale skin. She brought out her gorgeous blue eyes with a blue eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara to draw attention to her long lashes. Taylor is as beautiful as she is gifted, and her night on the red carpet at the VMAs just proved the fact that country girls can be glamorous.
