Miranda Cosgrove, the beautiful young star of Nickelodeon’s “iCarly” attended the 2009 Video Music Awards held in New York City by MTV. Miranda was yet another star to wear a metallic dress to the event. While it made her look a bit older, she still looked great as she posed on the red carpet.
Miranda wore a short silver dress with tank top style sleeves. The dress was lined at the top to avoid showing too much skin and looked quite stylish. The beige lining matched beige lace with silvery accents at the end of the dress, thankfully lengthening it a bit. Miranda seems a little pale to wear such bright silver but she pulled it off; her pale skin might have looked better with something a bit more subdued. Miranda paired her dress with dark silver nail polish and a silvery armband. Miranda’s high-heeled booties seemed a bit odd, but again, she pulled the look off. The shoes looked silver in some light and seemed to have red stripes in other light; perhaps they were just so reflective they actually reflected the red carpet into red straps. Whatever the case, they actually looked cute on Miranda.
Miranda is a natural beauty and her hair and makeup style always reflects this. She wore her shoulder length hair down and let it fall in waves about her face. The little bit of layers she has in her cut are gorgeous and flattering. She wore a peachy lipstick perfectly matched to her skin tone and lined her eyes in black, which brought them out wonderfully.
